10:00 PM: Dazzling display of fireworks on the beach after the theatre's evening performance. On-site free-will donations to support the Port Stanley Fire Rescue Association's charitable and community work.

Do you love to watch an artist at work? Plein-air artists will be set up along the "Art Walk" on the west pier of the harbour, and yes, you can buy the artwork.

Childs Cup Sailing Race
Childs Cup Sailing Race7:00 & 7:30 AM: If you're here early on Friday July 1st you will be able to see the Port Stanley Sailing Squadron boats set sail beginning at 7:00 a.m. in the annual Child's Cup 48-mile distance race over to Ashtabula, Ohio.


Children's Arts & Crafts
10:00 - 12:00 PM: The Port Stanley Festival Theatre will be hosting a free children's craft/art morning on Friday July 1st, 2011


Veterans Parade & Garden Party
Veterans Parade & Garden Party10:30 AM - 1:00 PM: Each year the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 410 holds a Canada Day Veterans Parade, followed by a garden party with Canada Day cake cutting in cenotaph park in front of the Legion. Come join the fun and show your Canadian pride and support for our veterans and serving Canadian forces.


Train Rides

Canfest Baby Contest
11:00 AM: at Our Times Harbour View Spa. Age group 3 - 18 months. Pre-registration available at the spa or on our website as of June 1st. Day-of registration at the spa from 11 AM - 12 PM. Judging will start at 12:30 PM and the winner will receive a basket full of baby things and coupons, a photo shoot and mom will get a day at the spa. Entry Fee: $10. Portion of proceeds to be donated to Canfest.

Kid's Treasure Hunt
Kid's Treasure Hunt3:00 PM: Registration at GT's. In what has become a Canada Day tradition, GT's hosts a kid's treasure hunt on the beach, featuring Stinkey Stanley the pirate. Hear the story of how Stinkey Stanley discovered Port Stanley. Each child gets a pirate hat and gear when they register for this treasure hunt. After Stinkey Stanley reads them the story of the treasure, he and all the kids follow the treasure map to discover where his treasure is buried - and no child goes home without a share of the "booty". Registration 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. Story/hunt starts at 4:00 p.m. sharp! Kids 8 years of age and under please!


Laughter Yoga
4:00 - 5:00 PM: Want to try something really fun? We're holding a FREE Laughter Yoga session on Saturday afternoon, right downtown in cenotaph park in front of the Legion. Laughter is infectious and before long you will be receiving the physical and psychological benefits of enjoying a really good laugh.

11:00 AM - 9:00 PM ~ Kettle Creek Inn: During the Canfest weekend we are participating in the Port Perch Plate contest and will also have burgers and dogs on the BBQ.

5:00 - 8:00 PM ~ Telegraph House: Enjoy our outdoor evening jazz barbeque. Tom Stark on keyboard and Don Durkee on sax. BBQ inclueds choice of burger, perch, beef or chicken, salad and Fresh local strawberry pie and shortcake. Tickets: $20 pp advance or $25 pp at the door. Wine and beer by the bottle or glass.

Bernard has a problem ... too much of a good thing. Three fiancées, each working for a different airline. He has nerves of steel and a finely tuned schedule ... but when the storm hits, the girls are grounded, and his fiancées come home to roost. High flying comedy at its best!
